We adopted Spiderman from the Welland and District Humane Society about 8 years ago. We are unsure of his true breed but he is definitely part Beagle! Before we adopted him, Spiderman was adopted out once by a family but was returned to the shelter. I'm sure his spunky attitude and non-stop energy might have had something to do with that! The happy news is he found his forever home with us!
Spiderman's favourite toy is his black Kong ball, and is in fact the only toy he cannot destroy within seconds! He loves to curl up on blankets, go on hikes and just be with his humans.
This is Cricket! Cricket is our only non-rescue animal. I bought her 18 years ago! She is 20 years old but mentally going on 2! She is full of attitude and boy can she run!
Cricket is a Dunalino Quarter Horse and came to us from Saskatchewan. She loves homemade molasses treats and to run around out in the paddock. She is a bit of a diva. She loves to have her picture taken and massages!
Meet Autobot! A friend of mine took in a litter of kittens after they were found on a moving truck coming from Hamilton to Niagara. Once old enough, we adopted Autobot and his sister (see below). Autobot is the definition of "Trouble-maker"! He demands attention and if you don't give it, he will find a way! He loves to play with toys and hide in his cat tunnel!
Hide-and-seek is his favourite game and no, I'm not kidding. Every day he will hide in his tunnel until you walk by "trying to find him" and then jump out at you. This cat LOVES to snuggle and will lay on top of any work you are doing!
Donut! Isn't she cute! She is Autobot's sweet sister. These two are complete opposites! Donut isn't much bigger than she was as a kitten - haha. Donut enjoys hiding in small, cozies places. She loves to have her face squished in your hands and has the loudest purr!
Donut would rather hide than play but she does love to roll around on the comfy carpet and look out the window!
